Mercury rules ulcers, Mars is ruler of all wounds and cuts. Fiery houses Mesha, Simha and Dhanu rasis and fiery planets Sun and Mars rule the diseases from burnt. When these houses and planets are afflicted, badly placed or conjoined with evil lords and in some way related with disease-inflicting house or planet, they give rise to the diseases from burnt. Afflicted Mercury when related with a disease-inflicting house or planet, gives rise to wounds and cuts. When Rahu or Ketu joins any of the above combinations. it produces lingering and irrecoverable disease. When Saturn joins them, produces pain with disease. The place affected by the disease is suggested by the house or rasi afflicted or by the afflicted or badly placed planet. When malefics like Saturn; Ketu, Mars’ and Sun pass over Mars, Mercury, Sun etc, they give rise to diseases ruled by them provided an affliction in similar way is present in the natal horoscope. When malefics pass through fiery !louses, they also give rise to danger from fire, provided such fiery house is afflicted in natal chart.

- Malefic Mercury afflicted by malefic.
- Rahu in the eighth house aspected by a malefic.
- Saturn in lagna and weak Moon with Rahu and Sun.
- Saturn in second house; Moon in fourth house and Mars in tenth house.
- Mars and Ketu in eighth, house aspected by malefic.
- Mars in eighth house aspected by malefic and Ketu in second house.
- Sixth lord and a malefic in tenth house without benefic aspect.
- Sixth lord in lagna or in eighth house with malefic.
- Sixth lord in sixth house with Rahu or Ketu.
- Moon in sixth house aspected by malefic.
- Saturn, Mars and Rahu in a house.
- Mars and Venus in ninth house or is tenth house aspected by malefic.
- Rahu with a strong malefic, fifth house .
- Mars and Sun in opposition one being in any of lagna, second, seventh or eighth house.
- Sixth lord with Mars in lagna.
- Saturn in eighth house aspected by Mars.
- Mars, Jupiter and Saturn in lagna.
- Mercury in its own house aspected by Mars.
- Waning Moon in eighth house with Rahu, Saturn or Mars.

The followings are the combinations for burnt :—
- Sun and Mars in first, second, seventh or eighth house aspected by malefic.
- Waning Moon in eighth house with Rahu, Saturn or Mars.
- Moon in house of Saturn hemmed between malefics.
- Waning Moon aspected by a strong Mars and also Saturn in eighth house.

Lagna—Brisha ; Saturn and Rahu in Mesha ; Mars in Brisha ; Venus in Kanya ; Ketu in Tula ; Sun and Jupiter in Brischika Mercury in Dhanu ; Moon in Meena.
This is a case of burnt in right hand resulting into ulcer.
The reasons for the same are:—
- Second house ruling right hand is aspected by Saturn from twelfth house, a fiery sign, namely Mesha rasi. Second lord Mercury is in dusthana, which is also another fiery sign, namely Dhanu rasi, and further it is aspected by Rahu from Mesha rasi, a fiery sign.
- Second house from Moon, Mesha rasi, a fiery sign is conjoined with Saturn and Rahu and lord thereof Mars, a fiery planet is aspected by Rahu from fiery house Mesha rasi. Second house from Sun, Dhanu rasi, another fiery sign, is conjoined with Mercury, ruler of ulcer and is aspected by Rahu from Mesha rasi, a fiery sign. Further Mercury is lord of eighth house, a dusthana from Sun.
- Mars is in lagna and Sun is in seventh house with lord of eighth house.
- Mercury, lord of second house is in fiery house and is aspected by Rahu from fiery place and is also aspected by Mars, a fiery planet.
- Brisha rasi ruling right hand is conjoined with fiery planet Mars and is aspected by fiery planet Sun and also by Rahu from fiery house. Saturn, karaka for hands, is in fiery house afflicted and is also in dusthana.

Lagna—Simha ; Saturn in Mesha ; Rahu in Brisha ; Sun and Jupiter in Simha ; Mercury and Venus in Kanya ; Ketu in Brischika ; Moon in Dhanu ; Mars in Meena.
This is a case of a big cut and wound in forehead resulted from an accident.
The reasons for the same are :—
- Mars is in eighth house. Mercury is in its own house aspected by Mars.
- Saturn, sixth lord and malefic, is in Mesha rasi hemmed between Malefic and lord of Mesha rasi ruling head, is in eighth house. Further, Mars, karaka of head, is in eighth house.
In this horoscope lagna and lord of lagna are free from affliction, but are conjoined with eighth lord therefrom. Mesha rasi and Mars both rule the head. Mars is further lord of fourth house, ruler of vehicles. Venus, karaka for vehicles, is in opposition to Mars being debilitated and is also aspected by Rahu, All these justify a vehicular accident and a wound and cut in the head.
