The relation of sixth house, lord of sixth house or Kanya rasi or disease inflicting planet or house with house and planets ruling lungs are necessary to produce the disease of lungs. When Jupiter, being a benefic, joins them or aspects them, he suggests recovery from the disease. Conjunction of or aspect by benefic planets and lords of or aspected by benefic house also bring recovery.

I am giving below few combinations for the disease of lungs:—

If the sixth house is a watery sign, and Sun and Jupiter be there.
If Sixth house is a dual sign and afflicted Sun be there.
Sun in lagna aspected by malefic Mars.
If eighth house be a watery sign, and if Venus or Jupiter or Sun be there conjoined with or aspected by malefics.
Any planet in sixth house between two malefics conjoined with or aspected by malefic.
Saturn, Rahu or Ketu in the eighth house conjoined with malefic and maraka planet.
If lagna or karaka planet be in watery sign, and Rahu and Mars be there aspected by Saturn.
If lagna or karaka planet be in watery sign with Rahu and Mars aspected by Saturn, and if Moon aspects or conjoins them, they produce worst type of tuberculosis.
Lord of lagna with Venus in dusthana and fourth house afflicted.
Malefic aspects of Mars and Saturn over lagna.
Mutual exchange of houses by Sun and Moon in rasi or navamsa and fourth house or any of them afflicted.
Conjunction of Sun and Moon in Karkata or Simha rasi and either fourth house or these being afflicted.

The reasons for the disease are:-

Mars is in sixth house and sixth lord Saturn is in lagna.
Venus is afflicted by Mars and Rahu, and is in sixth house.
Sixth lord is in lagna and is aspected by Mars from sixth house.
Ketu and malefic Moon are in eighth house.
Jupiter is in dusthana aspected by eighth lord Mars from sixth house.
Karkata rasi is aspected by malefics.
Fourth houses from Sun and Moon are afflicted.
Jupiter, fourth lord from lagna, is in dusthana and is aspected by eighth lord Mars from sixth house.

Thus we find many factors are present in this horoscope to give rise to disease of lungs. In this horoscope it will be seen that fourth house of lagna is a fiery house, fourth lord Jupiter is in fiery house, karaka Moon is in fiery house and fourth lord is also aspected by fiery planet Mars. The person suffered from dry pleurisy and this can be justified from predominance of the fiery houses and planets causing this disease. In this horoscope, fourth house is aspected by fourth lord Jupiter and karaka Moon is also aspected by him. He is further aspecting the sixth house. His influence over fourth house, Moon and karaka planet and he himself being fourth lord minimized the malignant qualities of the combinations for disease and that is why the person suffered from pleuricy only and not from tuberculosis of lungs.

This is a case of Pleurisy with effusion.
The reasons for the disease are :—

Rahu is in the twelfth house.
A malefic is in the fourth house aspected by another malefic.
Moon and Ketu are in the twelfth house.
Karkata rasi is aspected by malefics.
Fourth lord is aspected by Rahu from the sixth house.
Fourth house from Moon is afflicted and fourth lord is also aspected by malefic.
Fourth house from Sun is aspected by Rahu.

Thus we find the factors responsible for lungs disease are present in this horoscope. Here in this horoscope, Moon is in Tula rasi and fourth house from Moon is Makara rash Though they are airy and earthly signs, they are also known as watery signs. More over fourth house from Sun is another earthly sign, whose lord is Venus and the same is a watery planet, Venus, the watery planet, is also in fourth house from lagna. We find influence of water connecting the disease of fourth house is present and hence the suffering from pleuricy with effusion is justified.

This is a case of tuberculosis of lungs.
The reasons for the disease are :—

Sun and Saturn are in mutual kendras and they are afflicting the lagna.
Saturn and Ketu are in Karkata rasi, and thus Karkata rasi and fourth house from lagna are afflicted.
Moon is with Rahu and is also afflicted by malefic, Thus Moon and lord of fourth house from lagna are afflicted.
Sun, another karaka, is weak and afflicted by conjunction of sixth lord.
Fourth house from Moon is aspected by Saturn, Sun and sixth lord therefrom (Mercury).
Fourth house from Sun is afflicted by conjunction of Rahu and lord of the house, Saturn, is also afflicted.
Fourth house from lagna is also afflicted by Rahu.

Thus we find many important factors to give rise to lungs disease are present in this horoscope. In this horoscope, fourth house and tenth house from lagna, Sun and Moon are afflicted. Fourth house rules the right lungs and tenth house rules the left one and thus we find the person is liable to suffer from disease in both the lungs.
